Digital Services will be carrying out essential maintenance to the Trust’s infrastructure between the hours of 3.00am-4.30am on Wednesday 4 March 2026. Please see below for the list of affected services and the required actions during the downtime period.

External e-mail (outbound to NHS.net mailboxes only) Action: ORION/TRIPS/Plastics/Max Fax will all be affected during this time – please utilise other forms of referral/communication, e.g. telephone referral.

Smart card authentication/Spine services Action: ED staff are to ensure they are logged in prior to the downtime and do not log off if possible.

ICE Action: any request for blood transfusion should be done on paper during the downtime. Other pathology tests will not be affected.

CADonline (Inbound Ambulance screen) Action: ED and 888 to liaise with ambulance control if necessary

IEP (image exchange portal in radiology) Action: Thrombolysis calls – WSFT consultant will be contact to review remotely and make clinical decision, images will be accessed remotely via PACS. Thrombectomy calls – CUH is still on Brainomix so will be able to see the images, but a report will have to be emailed to them. ICH support – depending on urgency, images to be put on disk and sent to CUH.
