Due to a security incident raised by our Supplier for ShareFile, we have made the decision to take the system offline.

What is happening? The supplier of our ShareFile system (Progress Software) has alerted us to a potential external security threat targeting their infrastructure.

Is our data safe? Yes. The supplier has explicitly confirmed there is no indication of unauthorized access to any WSH accounts or data. Taking the system offline is strictly a proactive, protective step to guarantee the continued safety of our information.

What actions have been taken? In strict compliance with critical guidance from the supplier, the IT team has manually shut down the servers hosting the ShareFile system to isolate and protect our environment while the supplier investigates.

What is the impact? The WSH ShareFile system is currently inaccessible. You will temporarily be unable to access, upload, download, or share files using this service.

When will it be back online? The supplier is actively working with internal and external cybersecurity experts to fully assess the threat. We anticipate receiving our next update from them within the next 24 hours.

We will provide a further update to all staff as soon as we have more information and a timeline for restoration.
